Your retail store likely has a number of appliances that you rely on. Some are for customers in your establishment, whereas others are purely for employees. A few might even be there for everyone. Keeping them well-maintained helps them serve everyone better and prevents having to replace them. First, you must know which appliances to keep an eye on in your store.
Hand Dryers
Hand dryers are great appliances in all restrooms since you don’t have to buy paper towels. You also don’t have to keep restocking them or having someone check on them several times each store shift.
Microwave
Most microwaves just get replaced if they break down, but you might be able to replace the door handle and the turning tray if those are the parts that break. Your employee break area needs at least one microwave, but having several might help if you have multiple people on break at the same time.
Fridge/Freezer
Your employee break area should have a fridge at a minimum, and a freezer might also be a good idea. This is where they can store anything from their lunch to sodas or even medications. Coffee Makers

Automatic doors are appliances that make it very easy for people to come in and get out of your store. They’re certainly easier on anyone carrying things or pushing a stroller, and they make foot traffic flow more smoothly in both directions.
Cash Registers
Depending on the kind of transactions your store does, having at least one cash register around might still be a necessity. Some customers still prefer paying in physical currency, and you’ll need the right appliance on a countertop for those sales.
There might be other appliances in your store that are crucial to your daily operations. Identify any specifics you have not on this list so you can monitor them. A little bit of maintenance can go a long way toward saving money.
