During breaks and lunch, some may even attempt to get a little exercise in at their desks. Plenty of people who find themselves living a more sedentary lifestyle may opt to eat more healthier foods, such as salads for lunch and peanuts to snack on during office hours.
There are some jobs where burning many calories throughout the day is natural, especially if the job requires walking, climbing, or more extreme measures such as cutting down trees, working in construction, stocking the shelves of a supermarket, or walking around all day at a retail store helping people find what they are looking for.
